Ali LeRoi is an American producer, director, writer, and television actor best known for being the co-creator of era-era sitcom Chris Rock Everybody Hates Chris. He met Rock on the set of his late-night talk show of the same name on HBO. LeRoi wrote and directed several episodes of the series. Originally from Chicago, LeRoi attended the Robert Lindblom Academy of Science & Mathematics. He then studied cinema at Columbia College in Chicago. LeRoi also co-hosts a podcast titled "Alias Smith and LeRoi" with comedian Owen H.M. Blacksmith. Her first film, The Obituary by Tunde Johnson, screened at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival
